Structural Concrete & Repair

Our Structural Concrete Group specializes in new construction and concrete restoration. From vessel skirts to equipment pedestals, our experienced craftsmen and supervisors can design and install concrete structures to your specifications. Our concrete restoration services can repair concrete structures that sustained damage from exposure to chemicals, heat, or the passage of time. We are also highly experienced in the restoration of sulfur and coke pits as well as the unique requirements that each service requires.

Acid Proofing

Our Acid Proofing Group applies various coatings, linings, and floorings to steel and concrete structures to protect them from exposure to corrosive chemicals. Our qualified teams specialize in acid brick linings, specialty coatings, and membranes to protect your tanks, vessels, and other steel structures. Our protective concrete offerings include polymer linings, protective coatings, and acid resistant flooring, tile, and grout for retention basins, trenches, and interior and exterior flooring.

Light Civil

As a company, we have successfully executed numerous civil projects, both on a large and small scope of work. These projects have included smaller items with pump bases and sumps and larger projects with reservoir repairs and concrete slope protection projects. We built a workforce with the training and knowledge to efficiently execute industrial light civil jobs of all types, and we look forward to the opportunity to serve your needs.

Integrated Services

RCS is the premier provider of turn-key solutions and offers the following services, plus more, as part of our integrated approach.

FCCU

Fluid catalytic cracking is an important step in producing gasoline in the refining process. Catalyst particles convert thick, long-chain hydrocarbons distilled from crude oil into more profitable, shorter-chain hydrocarbons like gasoline.

SRU

The Sulfur Recovery Unit (SRU) is an extremely important unit for refineries or gas plants. Without it, there would be harsh adverse environmental consequences including severe acid rain, as well as lethal ground-level sulfur dioxide toxicity

Fired Equipment

RCS offers our clients true turn-key solutions for all of their fired equipment needs. We have you covered whether you require refractory repair, burner replacement, a complete retube, or anything in between.

Tanks & Terminals

A lot of midstream companies are mainly engaged in the transportation, storage and distribution of refined petroleum products and crude oil. These practices and facilities are often located in remote locations and servicing these locations can be challenging.

Refractory

RCS offers a full spectrum of refractory services, and our API Certified supervisors can handle all your refractory needs from demolition of existing linings and surface preparation to installation of new refractory.

Specialty Welding & Mechanical

You can count on RCS to provide true turn-key solutions for your heater, boiler, and furnace needs. Our experienced personnel, who hold “R,” “S,” and “U” stamps, can perform any necessary specialty mechanical work.

Fireproofing

For over 12 years, RCS has been installing various types of fireproofing for our clients in the refining, petrochemical, and chemical industries. Fireproofing is an essential line of defense, helping to mitigate factors that would escalate a fire, such as structural failures or overheating pressure vessels.

Fabrication

RCS presently has three fabrication facilities located in Texas and Louisiana. With over 40,000 square feet of dedicated space for this service, the priority of these shops aims to support the immediate needs of our field projects and to offer emergency response services to our clients.

Coating & Linings

With over 12 years of experience, RCS has seen a wide range of projects and various protective coatings applications. We have a broad selection of vendors and products to choose from to help with our services.

Insulation & Abatement

RCS operates a full-service insulation business with a great depth of experience throughout its organization. We also provide asbestos and lead abatements, corrosion under insulation (CUI) assessments, and create mitigation solutions to meet our customer’s individual needs.
